Characteristics

Mature leaves range from 6-40 cm in length, 5 cm in width. Leaf shape is falcate to lanceolate, with attenuate to oblique base and Both adaxial and abaxial surfaces are both glabrous, with pinnate venation. Margins are smooth and entire. Eucalyptus Globulus is considered invasive in some States.

The oil was used by Aboriginal tribes in Australia as an herbal remedy, and is still used to combat respiratory congestion, cough and other lung ailments.
